I recently had a chat with Belinda Rosenblum about the relationship between marketing, sales training, and having liquid cash in your business.

Upgrading Your Business Mindset’s Mental Clarity

Cash confusion where it just feels like you're overthinking your plan. This stage feels very disorganized and reactionary. To calm the chaos, you can focus on your mental clarity in three key areas: emotional clarity, tactical clarity, and strategic clarity.

Upgrade your beliefs and your money story and start changing your identity to be your business owner. Now you can learn tactics such as a money system tracking revenue expenses. Upleveling requires a strategic side, particularly in thinking about the creation of consistent income each month.

Revolutionize how you look at your business and how you collect money for your business. And this works for everything. You know, coaches are a great example, but I mean, I remember coaching my massage therapy.

Take a step back and look at your business and ask yourself, "How can you work together for three or six months to achieve an outcome?" Now people are buying the outcome and results. You're not forced into bank balance decision-making and bank-bound stress based on when you happen to have money in your bank or not.

Listen in to find out the importance of paying yourself first in your business, why the messy middle of business can be tedious, and why you should access credit to grow your business.

In this episode, I dive into a positive business mindset with Belinda including:

  • Transforming an Employee Mindset to a CEO Mindset
  • Remove the Mindset that Money is Bad
  • The Messy Middle of Business

I’m excited to chat with Erika Tebbens, a kick-ass female business consultant who brings entrepreneurs to the next level. We chat about networking, following through and how to sell with integrity.

Making Connections to Make Sales

I noticed the most important aspect of coaching and online business, in general, is the lack of people making an effort to make connections. No one is teaching coaches how to sell.

Giving Value Away

Give value, but if you want to get paid and have a viable business, you must embrace the people you serve. You are amazing, and the people you are speaking to will value your service. This means allowing them to take advantage of an opportunity they are a good fit for and help them.

Coffee Chats to Talk Business

So many women enjoy live coffee chats because it's an easy, low-key way to talk about business. I've been in lots of coffee chats where I take control of the situation to focus our talk on how to make money, get referrals, or whatever the topic is at hand for that session. So many women don't focus on relationship building because many of them don't want to be pushy or seen as high pressure.

Listen in to find out how to build your self-confidence and why networking is important to build your business.

In this episode, I dive into how to create more sales, including:

  • Why you want feedback on your product or service
  • The importance of creating relationships when selling
  • How you can make connections and network
  • Why you want to network in-person

Steph Tuss is the CEO of the multimillion-dollar global coaching company Life Is Now, Inc. The company's mission is to help entrepreneurs, experts, and self-employed professionals gain the confidence and find the right mindset to increase their revenue, turning their endeavors into seven- and eight-figure ventures.

Prior to her work with Life Is Now, Steph was a school teacher turned entrepreneur who built and sold her first business by the age of 33. She has a passion for helping others create their vision mixed with solid business strategy nuts and bolts.

Finding Her First Business Mentor

Steph was following Allie Brown, and she was doing this program with David Nagel. "The first time I heard David speak and it was like an arrow right through my forehead. When you hear the truth, you know, that you're hearing the truth and I just couldn't get enough."

Hiring a coach, she felt that she needed a switch in her business. Selling her business to another practitioner in the area, Steph decided to move on to something new. David hired her to work in his company.

Giving Yourself Permission as a Female

Steph says about societal expectations on females, “It’s a huge lesson that's taught to girls. Make everybody happy and sacrifice yourself. What you want doesn't matter. Your worth is determined by how many people you can help and what you can do for other people.”

I see it all the time on sales calls. If women would give themselves permission to want what they want, but they're waiting for someone to give them permission. You need to give permission to yourself.

Listen in to find out how to climb the corporate ladder and how Steph navigates decision-making as CEO of her company.

In this episode, I dive into how to be an effective CEO, including:

  • Tips for hiring your sales team
  • Goal setting with your team for your company
  • How to create a work culture of safety
  • The importance of making mistakes
  • Why you need to take ultimate responsibility for what happens in your company
  • Giving yourself permission to say no to others and yes to yourself

Utilizing Your Network for Free PR

Many of you may not have millions of followers, but you have enough of a network to utilize for PR. You most likely have access to connections. If you're not using your networks, you're missing out on PR opportunities! Are you leveraging your contacts? That is a significant way to get PR!

How to Get Major Media Attention for Free

Companies that you may want to work with and writers you work with don't want to hear from another person - they want to hear from you. They want to be able to get a straight connection from you to them! Your followers want to listen to your message straight from the horse's mouth.

Listen in to find out how to build a PR campaign by finding key people in your network, why you don’t need to hire a PR firm, and how I landed a spot in a major magazine!

In this episode, I dive into how to get free media coverage for your brand, including:

  • Researching your media options
  • The importance of learning how to pitch
  • Why you need to follow up with media peeps

Welcome to Part I of how to receive free PR for your business! We're going to be talking about why it's crucial that you learn how to get free PR for your business and dive into the mindset blocks that keep women business owners from becoming visible. In addition, you'll find out why you don't need to hire a PR firm.

Why Should My Business Create a PR Campaign?

A big issue that many of you have is that no one knows who the hell you are. And if no one knows who the hell you are, you can't close, or you can complete, but it's going to be way more complicated.

Think of your PR campaign as a way of building rapport. When you start getting media attention, your expert status skyrockets - it just goes through the damn roof. When people find out that I had a column at Inc, they want to pay me. When they find out that I've been in Forbes and find out that I've been an entrepreneur, they want to pay me.

Listen in to find out how to build a PR campaign by asking yourself key questions, why you don’t need to hire a PR firm, and who to ask for free PR!

In this episode, I dive into how to get free media coverage for your brand, including:

  • Setting Up a PR Strategy to get Free Media
  • Questions to Ask Yourself When Setting up a PR Strategy
  • The importance of Putting a Sales System in Place
  • How Emotional Blocks can Stop PR

Pre-qualifying your leads assists you in determining if you and the lead are a good fit. Will they pay your fees? Are they looking for the specific type of work that you offer? You don't want to waste your time on people who are not good fits, and pre-qualifying is a way to determine if the potential client will be a great client.

As a business owner, your time and money are extremely valuable. Don't waste it on people who don't resonate with what you are offering. Sometimes business owners aren't sure how to pre-qualify, or they don't have business boundaries in place, or they may not take their time seriously. We want to stop wasting time on leads that won't make you money.

There is a part of sales that comes with having experience, putting yourself in the situations, learning from those experiences. Once you have experience, you start getting a bit of intuition around sales and qualifying leads.
Listen in to find out how much time you should spend on pre-qualifying your leads, how to find leads and when to walk away from a lead.

In this episode, I dive into how to pre-qualify your incoming leads, including:

The amount of time you should spend qualifying a lead
Why networking for long amounts of time in large groups doesn’t work
When you should refer out a lead to another service
How to determine if a lead is a good client and good fit for your business

I joined the elite mind experience, the first cohort, with David Neagle. For the next 90 days, I feel that I completely rearranged my whole brain and identity.

Within 90 days, I had my first six-figure launch, and we finished significant infrastructure on the backend of the business to bring in passive income.

My team this week was talking about how easy it is to work with our procedures and systems in place. And the most unbelievable aspect of it all - I turned into a morning person!

"We target business owners because they have the most control over their income."

That's where David can be the most beneficial.

"I've worked with actors, actresses, politicians, doctors, psychiatry, attorneys, coaches and people that were actually doing something else before they decided to become a coach."

Part of what David teaches is teaching people how to think, which I believe has been, for me, the most life-changing game-changing thing I noticed in the last couple of weeks.

Listen in to find out how to use the Law of Attraction, why you want to take action to achieve your goals, and change your actions to change the cause and effect in your life.

In this episode, I dive into how universal laws affect you, including:

  • Changing Actions to Change Your Cause and Effect
  • Why Consistency is Key
  • The Law of Polarity
  • Perception and Intellect
  • How Thought Patterns become Habits
  • Religious Roadblocks to Becoming Successful

We need to talk about skill sets that lead to making good money. One essential sales skill is a good follow-up. Today, we're going to talk about three super-effective follow-up strategies that you can start using immediately!

You'll need to learn how to sell. As a business owner, you have to learn this skill set. As a human, I would venture to say you should understand this skill set because it's the one thing that ensures you don't worry about money at the time of recording this.

Part of selling has a good follow-up plan and script. Remember that you're dealing with humans and that they have a lot going on in their life. As a result, you have to get going at your follow-up game. The thing is, most people fail to follow up because they don't have an organized system.

When you have successful clients, remember to share them out on social media. When you're following up with people if you had clients that celebrated a win, share it in your Facebook group. Then screenshot their win and email it to your list to show potential clients that they can achieve the same success.

Listen in to find out how to create a script that will sell, how to follow-up with potential clients, and why you shouldn't waste your time on clients that aren't a good fit.

In this episode, I dive into how to make passive income online, including:

  • How to qualify a lead quickly
  • Using an application process for your programs and automate the filtering
  • What to do with potential leads and clients that aren’t a good fit
  • The importance of following up with leads
  • How to get more clients by showing off your current clients

I always knew I could sell and get money. I know how to find money, and I don't need Facebook ads to find cash and close someone at $25,000. I know in my bones how to do this, and I have a damn good product. Because of my self-confidence in sales, I have the conviction that I'll get things done in my business. I feel like this is what's missing for many people: the conviction and confidence in the product they're selling.

But what I didn’t realize when I started my own business is that deciding to build out systems was the best decision I made for myself and my business. Not only did my business really start to launch off the ground, but putting systems in place made scaling a reality for my company.

Listen in to find out how to choose a partner for scaling, why you should always trust your gut instinct, and the importance of having a great team to help you scale your business.

In this episode, I dive into scaling and teams, including:

  • The mindset you need to scale your business
  • The importance of having talented team members
  • Shifting into the CEO role
  • Our responsibility to make money to create change

Starting out, I didn't know any better, and I did what I called the spray and pray method. There was no strategy. I hadn't even niched down.

Since I had no idea how to market, I was all over the place with content. Your company content must be strategic. Your content should lead down your sales funnel and solve a major problem. What problem did I solve specifically with the finance stuff?

Listen in to find out how to build strategic content for your business, how I built and scaled my business and how I changed my mindset to make the jump from single entrepreneur to building and scaling my company as lead CEO of my company team.

In this episode, I dive into marketing and business mindset, including:

  • My money, mission and purpose
  • The importance of getting uncomfortable
  • Why you shouldn’t strive for perfection
  • How I changed my mindset to scale my company

At first, I doubled down on freelancing for a while. Then if anybody did come for my coaching, it's because they were already on fire and asking me for it, but I didn't pursue coaching full-time at that point because I wasn't aware that I could scale coaching into a seven-figure business.
Forget making seven-figures, or even six because I couldn't close and I didn't know how to handle objections. I was also really overwhelmed and wasn't sure what I was doing. I went through a significant rebrand, but instead of creating my rebrand based on business tactics, I did my rebrand based on my coaching certification program.

In this episode, I dive into the energy of visualization, releasing and manifesting in business, including:

  • When I realized I needed to scale my business
  • How I found my new home with visualization and releasing the thought into the universe
  • The importance of closing the sale
  • When I hired my first coach
  • The business disconnect
  • How to sell like a hunter

LaDawn Townsend from the Bosses Group interviewed me about what it takes to become an entrepreneur in a freelancer situation. We also talk about how I scaled my business and stepped into the CEO position - and mindset!

I had no idea what I was doing in the business world; I only knew that I could make money outside of a regular 9 to 5 job.You will also find out how I discovered my first business coach, Gabby, and how I started shifting my money mindset to one of abundant wealth.

What you'll learn in this episode:

  • How I became an entrepreneur without having an example at home
  • When I decided to jump ship from my job
  • What made me leave my job
  • Who I hired for my first business coach
  • Why I decided to change my money mindset

One of the questions I get asked the most is ‘Amanda, where are all the high ticket clients? Where are all the people that pay thousands of dollars for programs? Everybody I talk to is broke.’

Where are they?

They are everywhere. They are on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

The challenge is that you may not be attracting them because you may have some things missing from your business.

In this episode, I give you the best tips on how to attract high-ticket sales, including:

Projecting the right type of energy to attract high-dollar clients
Providing transformation comes at a high ticket price
The two key elements of a high ticket program
How to identify with expensive energy
Why you want to level up and be able and ready to receive

What is the fear of success?

Fear of Success Psychology explains why business owners won’t take the next step and leap into the unknown to create a successful company or lifestyle for themselves.

This fear of success is an ongoing fear of succeeding, to the point you can be inadvertently self-sabotaging your fortune. Although you’re capable of succeeding, your resistance is based on the fear of change that may come and the self-doubt of being able to keep up with your new lucrative income.

Reasons why people fear success:

  • Success is actually scarier than failure
  • You’re afraid of judgement
  • You’re afraid something bad is going to happen if you are successful
  • You are afraid of the changes you will need to make to be elevated to the next level of business

In this episode, we talk about steps you can take to circumvent the fear of success, such as:

  • How to accept and acknowledge your fear
  • When to take small, actionable steps
  • What to practice expanding on in your personal growth to combat the fear of success
  • Daily affirmations you can use to repurpose the negative energy associated with fear into a positive daily energy

Debt is NOT a Four-Letter Word

We've all been conditioned to believe that debt is a dirty word and that it comes with a plethora of negative connotations. What we need to keep in mind is that debt is another form of currency and abundance. Debt can be used to create tangible and physical for us in our personal and business endeavors.

When you come into debt through this journey, your result is always abundance. Even if you invest in coaches and perhaps don't get the results you want, you may have received the results you needed. There's always lessons to learn when we don't get what we want. Remember, you need to keep moving towards abundance, even if that means acquiring debt to get to your end goal.

Remember, when you’re moving forward in your journey to own your abundance. Remove your guilt and shame, move forward, and claim your abundance. Your energy needs to flow through the path of least resistance. Since we have all been raised in a world that operates on duality. Duality needs to exist for purposes such as the patriarchal paradigm to thrive. These ways can only thrive with our division. When we are divided as a human race, as a couple, sex, species, gender, culture, and community, these factions can exist and thrive.
Be a part of the movement towards abundance, your higher-self and a higher vibration for all of humanity!

Listen in to find out:

  • The four causes of debt shame and guilt
  • Why conscience debt is good for you
  • How to use debt to collapse timelines
  • Learning to ask for what you need
  • How to own your own brand of abundance
  • Leaving guilt and shame out of your life and replacing it with abundance

While no one is perfect at achieving every goal and commitment, I'd say I am pretty good at it. Typically, if I say I'm going to do something, I do it. I want to give you some of my information in hopes that my advice will help you slay your goals, whether they are sales, business, money, or personal goals for 2021.

Make sure to choose a goal that benefits you or your business. Another issue people have in staying committed to their goals is that they choose plans meant to appease another person they may be trying to impress.

Consider what YOU want in your business or personal life. Be selfish in a good way and create a goal that revolves around your interest in having buy-in and being more driven to complete your goal. Remember, what works for other people may or may not work for you, so be sure to choose goals that are an excellent personal or business fit for what you want.

Listen in to find out:

  • How to choose your personal and business goals
  • Why you want to be selfish when choosing goals
  • How to align your goals with your vision
  • Why you should write your goals down
  • The benefits of using a planner
  • Advantages of having an accountability partner
  • Why you need to honor your commitments

I'm still super excited about 2021 because I feel a new energy in the air! I see things shifting, moving, and changing. There is a light at the end of this tunnel. Even though we don't have evidence that 2021 will be better than 2020, my intuition tells me that this year will be a game-changer for business.

A specific business goal with many of my members is to hit the six-figure mark in their company. To hit the six figures, an individual must complete an external level up along with an internal level up. To internally level up begins with an internal identity of whom we want to be. When a client wants to level up internally, I always ask them, 'What is the identity of a six-figure business owner?'

What decisions would they make? What would they invest money in? What would they invest there? What tasks do you want to do with your valuable time? How should you take action and make decisions from that place?

Listen in to find out:

  • How to level-up your business
  • Why living up to your potential is essential to being successful
  • My personal goal leveling up from a six to a seven-figure business
  • Questions I ask myself when leveling up my business
  • The process of working through your new business identity
  • Why focusing on your future is important when making current business decisions

Leadership Lessons in a Time of Crisis

This year's theme has been leadership, which is where the biggest lessons and growth opportunities have happened. Many times my growth opportunities have really pushed me out of my comfort zone.

If you're in business, you'll end up in situations where you are taking a leadership role. There will be situations of crisis, hopefully not to the extent we've had in 2020 again. I make a joke that if we can get through this year, we can go through anything! Future challenges are going to be a cakewalk in comparison to 2020.

Pay Attention to Variables You Can Control

If we paid attention and took care of variables we could control, we can have a very bright future. Throughout all of 2020, this is the approach my team took, and I'm very proud of how my team handled this chaotic year!

Listen in to find out:

  • Leadership lessons learned from 2020
  • Why money doesn’t trigger me anymore
  • How outsourcing is vital for company growth
  • Why you should focus on variables you can control
  • How taking risk can give you more opportunities

This year, 2020, has been a hell of a unique year that's been embedded with lessons. Lessons that have pushed me to grow in ways that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

I am super proud of this community because we have grown like crazy this year. I'm also proud of my core team and Steve's production team, who edits this podcast. I also want to thank my sales team, whom I hired in April and was barely around to train them because I was so busy. They really stepped up to the plate and have come up with some very cool ideas for this community that has helped us grow so much.

I also want to express gratitude for my mentors this year, mentors as Michael Burt, Rachel Rogers, David Nagel. I mean, y'all really came through for me this year. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart! You deserve a round of applause!

One of the exciting things that I've learned is always to pay attention to your intuition. I started getting a sense about four years ago that I needed to make considerable changes to my business.

Listen in to find out:

  • Why you should always trust your intuition
  • The importance of acting on your intuition
  • Challenges associated with a year of uncertainty
  • How we pivoted to accommodate the new market
  • Why every business needs a system

People have a damn hard time sticking to goals. Most New Year's goals fade away for 80% of people after two to three weeks! Creating and sticking to your goals isn't an easy thing to do.

Of course, I will be a little tough on you and use words like 'discipline,' which isn't a word on your most-used vocabulary list. However, our focus is on achieving goals, which means you'll need the discipline to get what you want! However, you don't have to see discipline as a straight-laced authoritarian definition. I'll show you how to think about this concept differently and more invitingly.

Listen in to find out:

  • Why you should make your sales goals challenging
  • How to implement a reward system for yourself
  • What you can do to make your sales goals fun
  • The importance of setting a growth goal
  • Why you should stick to your decision
  • How I came about with my process of ‘seed planting’
