The only reason my company doubled in 2018, and exponentially grew in 2019, is because I am disciplined and I am focused. I know what I want, and I go after it, period.

Now, I've made no secret of the fact that I'm in the middle of scaling my company, and I'm not enjoying the process. There have been several challenges along the way, but I know it's going to get me to where I want to go. So I have the passion, and the desire, and the faith to see what I want and see the vision in my mind. I have the purpose, the discipline, and the focus to do whatever the hell it is I have to do to get there, and I do it all with a sense of urgency.

Ready for a real game changer in your life? In this episode, I'm going to share with you a framework that came to me in a meditation. I was meditating on focus and this framework showed up in a meditation. I've named the framework PDF Squared. PDF Squared, cause there's two parts to this framework. I've started using this framework in my own life when I'm not living up to my potential.

Listen in to find out:

  • If you’re practicing the Law of Polarity
  • How to Use PDF Squared Framework to achieve your potential
  • Why you must have passion, desire and faith to achieve your goals
  • How you can work outside your comfort zone to work to your potential

Four Questions You Should Ask (and be comfortable with the answer) When Hiring Your Next Coach.

Let's talk about the basics, what you should be looking for, and red flags. These are the exact same strategies that I use when I'm choosing who to work with. That's why I take the time to research and ask the right questions before I choose whom to work with and give my hard-earned money. When I use these four strategies, I don't get screwed. If anything, I've been disappointed, or have realized this coaching program isn't what I wanted to do after I get in the program. These questions are very beneficial and helpful to use and ask as you are looking into hiring your next mentor or coach.

Make sure to ask the proper questions when choosing your coach. Here are four questions you should ask when selecting your next coach.

Listen in to find out:

  • Why you should ask about the coaching curriculum
  • How to conduct market research
  • Why conducting market research is extremely important

Take Personal Responsibility For Your Choices

That's right, I'm starting with you first.

Are there bad coaches out there? Yes, some unskilled people talk and don't deliver in every profession. Then there are people who are looking to scam vulnerable people. I believe in love and light, but I am also a realist. One of my teachers says, "Know the truth, but respect the illusion." The illusion is you got a whole lot of narcissists out there taking advantage of people with very low self-esteem, and it's nothing new.

Your key to finding a good coach is to make sure you don't get scammed. To avoid getting scammed to the best of your ability, you must first start with you and your responsibility in choosing a coach.

Listen in to find out:

  • Why you have to do the work to make your dreams a reality
  • When you should take responsibility when your choice of coach doesn’t work out
  • When you shouldn’t join a program or pay for a coach
  • Why you should be passionate about the line of work you choose for yourself
  • Why you shouldn’t make a decision based on fear
  • How to avoid money drama
  • Why you should read the fine print of the terms of agreement before you sign on the dotted line

Do You Have Money Trauma?

Even if you grew up in the most wonderful household, all you had to do was walk outside the door, and you'd already start getting hit by other people's trauma about money. I often hear people beating themselves up about money because they feel they should have had their finances together before they decided to get them together with an "I should have known better" attitude. Honestly, how are you supposed to know better if no one ever taught you to manage your money any better?

Let’s get into this New Year by changing your mindset about making money. Remember, this is a process and a new habit to form. If you’re going to make money, you have to think like a person who is making money and throw out the old habits and beliefs around money you’ve been surrounding yourself with previously. Remember, only YOU can decide to make money. When you do, you take back financial control of your life and start looking for those money-making opportunities you’ve been missing right in front of your eyes!

Listen in to find out:

  • When you should cut yourself some "Making Money" slack
  • Who needs to decide to make money?
  • How to get into your decision to make money
  • Why societal beliefs about money are holding you back from making money
  • Why others will be jealous when you get your shit together and make money
  • Did you know that making money requires work? (Duh!)
  • When you should commit to making money

We Need To Think Big, Bigger, Biggest!

Amanda, one of my students in my Persuade to Profit program, asked me how to know when it's time to let a project go or make a transition in your career or business.

We need to think bigger, think ahead, see what's coming down the pike, and then act accordingly.

When you do this process, you have to be able to adapt in the moment. Maybe you need to let certain projects go, maybe you need to let certain dreams die, because they just don't make sense anymore. This skill set is important to have in your toolbox.

Listen in for the four steps to transition your career from where you are now to where you want to be.

Many of us are in the process of reflecting on the year, and we have a lot to celebrate. I know I have many reasons to celebrate this year. You may be realizing that while you had all these lofty financial goals, you may have missed your mark. Maybe you're realizing that you've been repeating old patterns and didn't make any progress.

In this episode, I'm going to share a transformational money story with you.

This is the story of my coaching client, Elisa. She went from being a struggling activist to negotiating high-dollar deals. I'm sharing this fantastic story because Elisa's story like this is the epitome of economic transformation - the same transformation that is available to you. I want to show you what's possible, and I'm going to break down the four steps Elisa took to get paid tens of thousands of dollars to speak at major universities.

At the time of recording this podcast episode, Elisa has informed me that she has closed a $20,000 speaking deal with a major university, and she also has her first-ever paying clients, rehiring her to do a series of workshops for these trauma survivors.

Listen in to find out:

What the process of financial transformation looks like
Elisa’s personal financial transformation experience
How Elisa went from believing she wasn’t worthy of earning money to accepting a $20,000 speaking gig
The four steps Elisa took to change her mindset from being unworthy to a vision and mission driven seven-figure business.

An Invitation To Break Into Your New Mindset

I want to invite you to let 2020 be the year that you choose, you. Choose your economic transformation, just like Elisa chose hers. There is no difference between you and her.
I've completely revamped one of my most popular free training, and we're now offering a free webinar called how to make your first 100 K online, even if no one knows who you are. We've had students take this free training, and they're getting major brand recognition on a national radio show within one week. One of the questions I’m asked most is about my hiring process. I have gone from a one-woman show to a team of eight. In this episode, I'm going to break down and explain what I do when I'm moving through the hiring process. Full disclosure: I have experience working in an HR capacity as a recruiter at my last job.

When you've had a negative work experience such as bad management or bad employees, you need to make a conscious effort to keep your experience separate and not let this shadow all future interactions.

Remember to come from a place of abundance and make the decision to move forward and grow. Take action to invest in your company to make your dreams and goals a reality for you and your business!

Listen in to find out:
My background in human resources and my human resources experiences
How you can let go of previous negative HR experiences
My three tips for hiring successful employees to your team
When you should ask the universe for what you want
Why you realistically can't do everything yourself!

This year has been tremendous for Making Money Your Honey, doubling our income in the past year. I’ve been hiring contractors to do part of the work for me; however, I came to the realization that if I’m going to be a leader, I need to lean into my leadership role and become a leader in my organization.

Why? I didn’t start a company just to have a job. I had an idea, and I wanted my idea to grow and blossom into something big - bigger than myself. I want to help thousands of people, and I realized this wasn’t going to happen if I didn’t let go of being a micromanager and give others ownership in my game.

Listen in to find out:

  • How and when I decided to let go and stop being a “doer”
  • When I figured out I needed to build a team instead of just using contractors
  • How I transitioned from business owner to leader
  • The steps I had to take to lean into my leadership
  • My experience stepping into my role
  • How I let other people on my team support me
  • When limiting beliefs get in the way of your growth
