Today I'm here with a new friend, Sarah Walton. I already like her because we both showed up in Ubon and cozy sweaters. Yeah! That's the best way to go.
Landing Her Corporate Job in New York City
Sarah became a corporate CEO in later years and had the gorgeous glass corner office. Her staff adored her, and her boss had complete confidence in her, but she was miserable. Although her family life was OK, her career wasn't fulfilling her.
"I was terrified about what my boss was going to say. I was terrified of what was gonna happen to my staff. At this moment I knew I had to break this cycle." Similar to the turning point she had in the grocery store, Sarah looked at the two paths in front of her and made a choice.
Starting Her Path to Entrepreneurship
As she started to create her own business coaching people, it quickly became transparent that many women needed her service. "There is not enough money for them to be happy and to be able to provide for their family."
Meet Sarah Walton
Starting out her career in Los Angeles, Sarah graduated from UCLA. She moved to New York City and ended up working for Lifetime Television's New Media department. From there, she worked hand-in-hand with Marianne Williamson on her community site and digital offering, The Miracle Matrix. Next, she went to iVillage, and then IAC where she managed a P&L worth hundreds of millions of dollars and a gorgeous team of people. Then she decided to become an entrepreneur.
Sarah started the online magazine Better Way Moms and spoke about the importance of life and self-balance. She then launched her first book, Redefining Success, and started traveling with her Redefining Success Event. Today, Sara speaks for corporations, conferences, small business events, and women’s groups worldwide.

After reading the Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris, Tyler Wagner decided to drop out of college and start his own journey. Being a student with over $80,000 in debt, he didn't have the resources to attend big conferences. Instead, he wanted to go for coaching. Six months later, Tyler contacted event organizers asking for a free ticket to their event. Almost every 100+ events gave him a ticket to their conference. On one occasion, in particular, Mastermind Talks, he met Tim Ferriss backstage.
On His Book, Conference Crushing
After attending these events, Tyler wrote his first book, Conference Crushing - a 70-page guide on networking in events. Going from a dropout to best-selling author, the people who doubted Tyler would make it after becoming a college dropout were now paying attention.
At this point, Tyler was getting paid to speak on stage. So he also started his own tribe, Authors Unite. "I started out with one-on-one coaching that was a low ticket item. At first, it was great." Do you have lots of bullshit in your life? Think about who you let into your personal and professional circles. Do they bring your drama or support?
If you have negative people in your life, you need to cut them out because they are the roadblock for you becoming successful. You need to cut out the bullshit in your life because negative people, habits, and influences prevent you from achieving who you are meant to become.
The truth is, if your personal life is a fucking mess, your business is probably going to be a mess.
If you're around people who are not supportive, life will be complicated and challenging. If you are around people who don't respect you, it will be tough to be successful and build the business and go where you want to go.
If you don't figure out what your standards are financial, in your relationships, in your life, and your business, you're going to have drama and chaos in life and business.
Listen in to discover how to set your standards within your power. In addition, you’ll learn:
Why creating boundaries is the most important aspect to acquiring wealth
How to make boundaries

This past year, 2021, has been better than 2020 on many different levels.
I decided that if my team could get through 2020, then 2021 would be good. One of the reasons that 2021 has been better is because I practice being decisive.
Many of you have recently asked me, 'Amanda, how are you so confident? How do you get results so fast?' I'm going to tell you right now, it's the ones who are fucking decisive.
Patrice Washington recently came on to my podcast. She mentioned that the one characteristic wealth is attracted to is decisiveness.
So many people either don't make decisions or make decisions unconsciously.
To build the life, wealth, and money you want, you have to fucking decide that that's your going to be your life. Now, this gets a little scary for people because many people are like, oh, rich people are evil.
We have all these stories about our relationship to money. Money trips people up and creates and digs up many emotions for people.
Listen in to discover why making a decision equates to more money! In addition, you’ll learn:
For more information, visit the show notes at https://amandaabella.com/how-to-build-wealth-by-being-decisive
Today, I want to speak from my heart and give back and let you in on how we created six figures in sales revenue in just 90 short days! First, I want to be clear that these figures are based on sales contracts.
These sales contracted over a hundred thousand dollars, but this didn't happen overnight. So I want to give you not only the basics but dive deeper into the details of how I made six figures in 90 days because I'm noticing in online spaces that people are not going deep enough to get results.
Build a Vision for Your Business
Vision is critical because you need to know what you want out of your life to get there successfully. Everybody says they want money, success, and wealth, but what does that mean?
Even though many people say they want money, success, and wealth, they don't have a target or goal they are shooting towards. So you need to have clarity because you need an end goal in mind. Once you understand what you want, create your vision around your goals. Then, you have a finish line to cross. This is extremely important, particularly when times get tough; you want to hold onto that vision to get you through those rough spots in your business.
Listen in to discover why you need to research less and take action more! In addition, you’ll learn:

I've been experimenting with a four-day workweek for the past 18 months, which is why I'm excited to bring you Joe Sanok, who is the author of Thursday is the New Friday. In today's episode, Joe talks about how our calendar came about, work styles, and how you can utilize your work style to create your own four-day workweek.
Blame the Babylonians for a Seven Day Work Week
Since the Babylonians looked up in the sky and saw seven bright planets, they decided to make a seven-day calendar. The Romans had a 10 day calendar week, and the Egyptians had an eight-day week. "The concept of a year makes sense because that's how long it takes us to go around the sun."
The Neuroscience Around Work Productivity
"I think we're seeing some of the most effective leaders recognizing the neuroscience around how we do our best work." When we focus on tasks that are the best use of our time, we can be more productive. So now, you're starting to put all of your best energy into your best work week after week.
Meet Joe Sanok
Joe Sanok is the author of Thursday is the New Friday: How to work fewer hours, make more money, and spend time doing what you want. It examines how the four-day workweek boosts creativity and productivity. Joe has been featured on Forbes, GOOD Magazine, and the Smart Passive Income Podcast. In addition, he is the host of The Practice of the Practice Podcast, which is recognized as a Top 50 Podcast worldwide with over 100,000 downloads each month.

The minute I met Lara, I knew we were kindred spirits. So I'm excited about the conversation we had on a recent episode of my podcast where she shared her wisdom and knowledge about referral marketing.
Executing Your Lifestyle Design
Lifestyle design is all about executing your plan, and if you don't delegate the tasks you don't like to do, it will take you longer to reach your end goal. Period.
If you want to become a digital nomad, you need to test overseas and learn how to execute more slow travel. I've been talking about this lifestyle for about three years and had to rearrange my whole business to achieve my desired lifestyle. My first business wasn't working, so I had to think differently and have a real new identity.
One of the biggest mistakes people make is not thinking about how they want to live their lives; they only think about making money. To plan your ultimate life, you need to reverse design what you want to do. First, think about the lifestyle you want to live and then design your work around your lifestyle.
Meet Lara Wellman
Lara is a Certified Business Coach who believes small business owners can make more money, love the work they do, and still have time to enjoy their lives! She wanted her fan base to have the ability to work from home and be a stay-at-home mom.
"I think you get to a point as a blogger and you're doing everything to get people to your blog with SEO, and then Google changes their AI." She started to become fed up with the ever-changing SEO in 2016, so she started exploring Facebook ads as they were able to get her significant results fast.
"I was able to put up an ad in front of the person who would be attracted to the content that I was putting out - and it worked!" At this point, she decided to sell her blog and start helping others get in front of their avatar with Facebook Ads.
